Frequently Asked Questions

  1. 1. Why should I obtain a Singapore Qualification where there are other more established institutions to choose, from other countries?

For starters, the "world is getting smaller". We cannot run away from the fact we are better informed today than we were years ago. As individuals, we are very conscious of the Return on Investments (ROI) for every dollar spent. Hence quality, recognition and prestige are the 3 key elements that we (and you as students) would want out of your investment. You may also wish to consider the cost factor and find a location that has the trappings closest to your home environment - culture, and customs for example, and yet provide the international flavour for your learning experience.

Singapore offers all that and much more. A Singapore certificate, diploma does carry with it the international recognition and prestige.

  2. 2. What are the types of academic / education courses that STEi offers?
  3. 3. Does STEi have set curriculum?

Yes, we have set curriculum developed in-house and those accredited with internationally established Organisations such as City & Guilds International (C&GI) and London Chamber of Commerce and Industry International Qualifications (LCCIIQ). Accreditation with C&G and LCCI offers successful students with recognition for employment in related industries and enrollment to accredited universities. These details are provided in the website and the available flyers. We are offering courses for both full time students and part time students who are under active employment and wish to upgrade themselves.

  4. 4. What are your fees like?

The rates offered will be competitive and sustainable with due considerations to costs and measured against client's cost-effectiveness considerations. Students that have successfully met the course / programme requirements - prescribed attendance and passing the examinations as licensed through accreditation with internationally established Organisations (LCCI, City and Guilds) would be issued with certifications accordingly. Course fees can be found in:

    • Course Flyers available in the school
    • Breakdown of the Course Fees can be found under “Student Affairs”.
    • You may request our Customer Service Executive to e-mail these brochures to you via: admin@stei.edu.sg
  5. 5. Are the certificates issued by STEi recognised internationally?

STEi has been approved by our partner organisations and certified as their registered Training Centre for the respective LCCI and C&G courses; e.g.: A Student who completes the Advanced Diploma in Hospitality Management course can earn credit points for acceptance into Degree Course in Hospitality Management at affiliated Universities.
