Albert Ang

Chairman

Albert H.W. Ang is the Founder and Director of Alberton Management Institute (“Alberton”) established in 1985. During the last 26 years. Alberton has grown to a well-known training consultancy company, involving itself in training consultancy, curriculum design, career guidance, counselling, university representation seminar & event organisation, and until recently, had been running Bachelor and Master degree programs in Logistics and Supply Chain Management.

Albert holds a Master of Science in Management from The Richard D Irwin Graduate School of Management at The American College, Pennsylvania, USA. He is a certified Public Accountant, Chartered Secretary, Fellow of the Chartered Financial Practitioners, Fellow of The Taxation Institute, Australia, Fellow of The Institute of Public Accountant, Australia, Fellow of The Association of International Accountants, Fellow of The Chartered Institute of Marketing, as well holding other qualifications in Transport and Logistics, Administrative Management and Financial Planning.

He is also professionally affiliated as an Associate Fellow of The Australian Institute of Management and Member of the Singapore Human Resource Institute.

He has been named in the international WHO’S WHO of Entrepreneurs 2001 – 2001 and had been on the board or council of many professional bodies and institutions. Currently, he is the Secretary to the board of Ling Kwang Home for Senior Citizens and the voluntary national Field Coordinator of the Gideons International.

Govindaraju Ramiah

Mr. Raju was a Naval Officer with the Republic of Singapore Navy from 1970 to 1996 before he retired as a Major. He held various appointments in the Navy, the last being President, SAF Court Martial Centre.

He graduated from the University of London in 1981 and went on to be called as a Barrister (Gray’s Inn) at the Bar for England and Wales in 1983. He was called to the Singapore Bar on 11 September 1996.

Raju was in private practice for 3 years before joining the Ministry of Home Affairs. He left the Ministry of Home Affairs in 2006 and is now the General Manager of Straits Law Practice LLC.

Daxter Wee

Member

Daxter held the appointment of Programme Director, International Learning Division with ST Electronics (Training & Simulation Systems) Pte Ltd from 2007 to 2010 during which, he was assigned an overseas posting for the implementation of smart enhancement programme in Government and International Schools in Kazakhstan, Central Asia from 2007 to 2009. The overseas stint saw Daxter’s successful implementation of the Smart Enhancement Programme in the schools widely across the Regions in Kazakhstan.

Daxter has also amassed vast experience in both the military and commercial sectors with extensive expertise and skills in leadership, management, organisation and strategic planning. This was acquired over the 30 years spent as a career officer in the Republic of Singapore Navy, Ministry of Education and in ST Education & Training (STET) Pte Ltd.

While with the Navy, he held Command appointments onboard various classes of ships and several shore appointments including duty tours as Training Officer of the Naval Cadet Institute, , Head Training Resource in the Headquarters, Naval Training Command and Executive Officer (Vice Principal) of the Institute of Naval Training and Operations where he was in the Project Team that developed the Navy’s unique Training Performance Management System (TPMS) and as the Institute Senior Management Member, helped the entire Training Command that the Institute was party of, in the journey towards attaining the Singapore Quality Class.

After leaving the Navy, Daxter continued to contribute his core competencies and expertise in education and training for several years as a Director of the Integrated Training Workforce in STET (Changi).

Thereafter, Daxter headed the Operations Department of STEi and had recently moved down to pursue his personal interest.
